Black History Didn’t Start with Slavery

Join us for a candid and engaging virtual class about the diversity of African history before the transatlantic slave trade. We will discuss Black contributions made to the world in art, medicine, technology, and the humanities prior to the transatlantic slave trade. Some questions we aim to answer include: why is this history not discussed in public education? what actions can we individually take to make Black history known?
