Join us for our virtual town hall with very special guest Stuart House, local Civil Rights Movement Leader.
We’re extremely proud to introduce you to our newest Mindful Littles advisor, Stuart House. Stuart is a veteran Civil Rights activist who worked alongside Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and many other prominent activists in Mississippi and Alabama during his time with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC).
Stuart is jumping right in to the Mindful Littles family to co-host a virtual town hall series about his experience in the Civil Rights Movement as a young person, the origins of racism, what it means to recognize and face our fears and how we can take action now. Joining Stuart in conversation are Mindful Littles facilitators Liz Graham & Travis Groft.
The series begins Wednesday, July 8 from 4-5 pm PST and will continue bi-weekly.
This is a FREE & LIVE Facebook event, geared towards teens and adults but all are welcome!
Recordings of the sessions will be available if you are unable to attend live!
