A DownBeat “Jazz Group of the Year” nominee, The Lao Tizer Band make their SFJAZZ debut in support of their forthcoming album & video release, AMPLIFY.
Pianist, Keyboardist, Composer Lao Tizer (Special EFX, Down To The Bone) leads a stellar lineup including; GRAMMY-winning drum phenom Gene Coye (Hiromi’s Sonicwonder, Terence Blanchard), American Idol star Elliott Yamin on vocals, and Rolling Stone 2022 “Bassist of the Year” nominee, Anthony Crawford (Erykah Badu, Alan Holdsworth, Jeff Lorber).
Directed and edited by Andy LaViolette (Snarky Puppy, Bokanté), AMPLIFY features an all-star cast and was recorded and filmed live at legendary EastWest studios in Hollywood.
