Join us for our summer Civic Conversations series where we explore the third rails of dialogue: Race, Religion, and Politics. Civic education needs to be a part of all these different and sometimes difficult conversations! Her research focus is on building literacy with African American students through engagement in the books of the Canon and she self-published her book Living in the Constellation of the Canon: The Lived Experiences of African American Students Reading Great Books Literature recently.
